Kibu Partners With CLEAR to Bring Enhanced Identity Verification and Security to Virtual Conversations

By: Ari Andersen, Kibu CEO

In today’s digital world, the most sensitive interactions don’t always happen in person.

They happen in virtual deal rooms, collaborative workspaces, and digital approval workflows.

High-risk financial authorizations. Strategic decisions made under pressure. Contract negotiations, medical consultations, legal transactions. Each of these moments relies on one crucial element—knowing who you're interacting with, and being certain they belong there.

At Kibu—the secure authorization management platform that brings in-person trust, privacy, and confidence to virtual communication and decision making—we’ve built a system designed for exactly this kind of environment.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce our integration with CLEAR1 — CLEAR’s secure identity platform for businesses — that brings an additional layer of verification to every interaction on Kibu, bridging the gap between digital collaboration and real-world trust like never before.

A New Layer of Human Verification

Now, Kibu users can use CLEAR to verify their identity within the Kibu platform, introducing an additional layer of verification to access secure Kibu Pods. Whether granting access to a sensitive document, approving a transaction, or joining a confidential collaboration space, this integration further ensures that identity verification is no longer just a security feature—it’s a requirement.

Kibu is built for high-stakes digital environments. It combines end-to-end encryption, biometric authentication, and verified identity to protect against threats like phishing, fraud, impersonation, and deepfakes—threats that are real and pervasive.

This collaboration not only raises the bar for privacy and security, but also makes it easier for individuals and organizations alike to have confident, secure interactions—without relying on fragile identifiers like email addresses or phone numbers.

We’re grateful to have partners at CLEAR who align with our mission. Vladimir Stojkovski, VP of Product at CLEAR, weighed in on today’s announcement:

“At CLEAR, our mission has always been to make experiences safer and easier — physically and digitally. Partnering with Kibu enables us to bring our trusted identity platform directly into high-stakes authorization workflows, giving users confidence that every interaction is verified by a real person. Together, we’re raising the standard for secure, seamless virtual trust.”

With CLEAR now available on the Kibu platform, verification is as simple as snapping a selfie. Users consent to share their information, keeping them in control while protecting secure communications.

This new feature works in concert with the rest of Kibu’s secure infrastructure—biometric access controls, selfie checks, and digital signatures—helping organizations manage sensitive access and workflows with absolute clarity around identity.

Why it Matters

In this moment, when high-value decisions increasingly rely on digital tools, the question isn’t just whether data is protected. It’s whether access is authorized—intentionally, clearly, and securely.

Authorization is no longer about passwords or credentials. It’s about verified presence and real-time trust.

This integration between Kibu and CLEAR is one more way we’re building toward that future—where every sensitive interaction online is not just encrypted, but confidently and clearly authorized by the right person.
