Kibu Featured in POLITICO for Partnership with CLEAR

We’re excited to share that Kibu was featured in this week’s edition of POLITICO Weekly Cybersecurity, highlighting our partnership with CLEAR, the identity verification platform best known for streamlining secure access in physical spaces like airports and stadiums.

As POLITICO reports, the partnership marks “a new type of security” — one that brings biometric identity verification directly into digital communication workflows.

Kibu already enables users to communicate in private, end-to-end encrypted groups without relying on vulnerable identifiers like phone numbers or emails. Now, through our integration with CLEAR’s CLEAR1 platform, users can request CLEAR verification before admitting members into Kibu Pods.

Kibu CEO Ari Andersen shared more in the announcement:

“This collaboration not only raises the bar for privacy and security, but also makes it easier for individuals and organizations alike to have confident, secure interactions — without relying on fragile identifiers like email addresses or phone numbers.”

This partnership builds on Kibu’s vision to make real-world trust the foundation of digital communication, and to provide organizations with the tools they need to secure collaboration in a world increasingly shaped by deepfakes, identity-based threats, and insider risk.
